Halo 1.5.2 software update

Halo now requires me to insert my CD to play.
Version 1.03 and all future versions of Halo require a CD to play. Nearly all PC games and most commercial Mac games releasing in 2004 also require a CD to play. MacSoft has resisted requiring a CD to play our games until now, but the massive online theft of Halo and other games has now forced us and other Mac games companies to implement copy-protection schemes. All of these schemes depend on a CD being inserted. We very sincerely apologize for the inconvenience this causes the honest people who have purchased Halo. Unfortunately, there are now just too many dishonest people willing to steal games like Halo on the Internet. For more information, click the links below to the articles at:
When I run Halo on my Mac with ATI video in OS X 10.2.8 I get looping, jerky audio and a black screen.
This is caused by an issue with the ATI video drivers in 10.2.8. Simply install the updated ATI driver located in the Extras folder on your Halo CD and restart your Mac.
My gamepad doesn't work with Halo. Why?
You need to have Halo version 1.5 or newer in order to enable gamepad support. If you do not currently have the most recent update installed you can download it from one of the links near the top of this page.
When I run Halo on my Mac, I get a message that says that my processor is below the minimum system requirement and then the program quits. How can I bypass this?
Hold down the "P" key on the keyboard while double clicking the Halo game icon, and the game will bypass the message. This error message will also occur on some Macs that are above the minimum system requirement due to an incorrect value being returned by the hardware.
After installing Halo, I double click the game icon, the screen goes black and then returns to the desktop after a second. What's up?
The shaders folder is missing files or is missing altogether. To fix this, copy the
shaders folder from the CD into the Halo folder on your hard drive. If
prompted that the shaders folder already exists, click "Replace."
NOTE: Don't copy the shaders folder from the cd if you have already updated the game.
I see graphical anomalies on my Mac with a GeForce 5200 video card in OS X 10.2.7 and 10.2.8.
The nVidia video driver under OS X 10.2 causes these anomalies and has been repaired in OS X 10.3. nVidia may be able to solve the issues with this driver in OS X 10.2 in the future. For now, updating to OS X 10.3 is the best solution.
Does Halo support Full Screen Anti-Aliasing?
Halo does support Full Screen Anti-aliasing. However, you may experience some minor graphical anomalies with this feature enabled.
